On the 4th of May I will appear on BBC Radio3’s InTune to introduce my upcoming performance in this years Oxford Early Music Festival. Conference of the Hungarian Musicological Society

Arts and Humanities Research Council funding

Very pleased to announce that my PhD research project at the University of Glasgow will be funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council until 2018. My research focuses on behavioural attitudes in the performance practice of Italian music during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.

CD recording first edit

The first edit of our recording project with countertenor Meili Li, cellist Lucia Capellaro and harpsichordist Pawel Siwczak has just arrived. Sounding great so far, we are looking forward to hear the final version. Stay tuned!

Brighton Early Music Festival performance

The early music ensemble Ars Eloquentiae have been selected to participate in this year’s Brighton Early Music Festival Young Artists scheme. Our programme ‘Sex, lies and violins’ is based on Laurence Sterne’s A Sentimental Journey Through France and Italy and features works by Marais, Philidor, Leclair, Corelli and Vivaldi. The performance will be held in the Latest Music Bar on the 1st of November.
