I really look forward to deliver an online guest lecture at McGill University. The topic of my discussion will be social norms as performance practice in early modern Italian music.

I am pleased to announce that ‘The Night With… Live Vol. One’ album is now available for order. I perform a selection of old and new pieces on the disc as part of Ensemble 1604, including Timothy Cooper’s ‘… shadows that in darkness dwell…’, which has been composed specifically for the ensemble. Tim’s fantastic piece has also been nominated for best new Electroacoustic/Sound Artwork as part of the Scottish Awards for New Music 2020. To purchase the album, please follow the link below:
I look forward to perform JS Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos with Dunedin Consort from 18 January to 1 February. We will start in Scotland, where our programme will also include Telemann’s recorder and flute double concerto, which I will be playing alongside the wonderful Katy Bircher. Afterwards, we will head to the States, with stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Washington. For the final performance, we will be back in Europe, rounding it all off in Madrid.
